Boomer is the love of my life! I have had him since 2001 and loved every moment of it!
He is a gorgeous 15.3 hand Bay Quarter Horse Gelding. He loves people, carrots and
soft peppermints! I can put anyone on Boomer and not worry about thier safety! Of course,
if they are little, I walk with them beside Boomer. Boomer was my lesson horse until this
year when I retired him. He has been there and done that and I believe he deserves to
live the rest of his life as my trusted trail horse and companion! I love walking out
in the mornings to hear his nickers. I drive in the driveway and am greeted by a sea of
nickers and winnies! Can you tell I love this boy???
This is Lady Bug! This picture isnt the best but it is the only picture I have of her
with no tack on! She is a 15.1 hand Sorrel Quarter Horse Mare. She loves to be brushed,
peppermints and to be kissed on the nose. When I first got Lady, she was a bit of a handfull.
She had been left in a field for 5 years with no vet, farrier or worming. Her owner
said she was vicious! So, my friend/lil sister Jess and I worked with her. We found out
right after purchasing her that she had wolf teeth, which would explain the rearing
when she was bridled. We found out that the owner had done such things as twist her ears
as a form of getting her to listen. So we had our work cut out for us. I started with
the ground work. Each night, just getting her to trust me to rub her head. Then,
it was time for the halter to come off at night and on in the morning. Bribery worked well
for her. After alot of time and patience and with the help of Jess on riding, Lady Bug
will now let you rub her face and ears and take the halter on and off. She is ridden
in a bitless bridle, we got her a new one made by Debbie Hanson of Crazyropes.com, I will
post pictures in the sping. She is a real joy to be around and loves attention. The only
thing she isnt happy about is her teets being cleaned. But we are hoping to work on that!
Lady is for sale. Please visit the

Tucker
POA/Welsh Pony
8 Years Old
This is Tucker. Tucker is an 8 year old POA/Welsh Cross unregistered gelding. Over the past
six years, Tucker has been living at the barn I teach at in Newburg. The people who owned
him could not handle him. He ended up being mistreated and manhandled. He was then sold two
years ago to a young man who just spent his time teaching Tucker to go up stairs and come
when whistled to. On March 2, 2008, I offered to buy Tucker after coming to realize that
without any real training, he was not going to be sold. So, Tucker came home on 3/2/08
to his new stall and his new friend Boomer. I am taking it very slow with Tucker, as I
want him to learn to trust me and except me. He is coming along nicely with his trust.
I will be trying to keep a journal on Tucker, as I know that there are a few people
who would like to be kept up to date on his progress. My plan at this time, is to work
with Tucker on his trust and ground manners and then move on to ground work, sacking out,
and then possibly sacking him out to a cart. I am hoping to take Tucker to a few MW
shows just to get him used to new surroundings and possibly take him into a trail in hand
class. I will be offering Tucker for sale as soon as his training reaches an appropriate level.
